5. Dolph Ziggler VS AJ Styles

The “Show Off” VS the man who has reinvented himself since leaving TNA. If you’ve been looking at WWE VS TNA “dream card” articles over the last few years, you’ve probably seen this match mentioned more than once. AJ being the man who TNA should have been focusing their time and energy on, only to have them pass him over for people who the fans viewed as less talented and less deserving, and the same can pretty much be said for Dolph and WWE.
Once again, you have a match featuring two men with something to prove. You know that’s Ziggler’s mindset because he’s the first person to say so. He’s always wrestling with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, thinking he should be used better than he is. That can often cost someone with match quality, but we’ve yet to see it with him. AJ has done interviews where he stated how disappointed he was, at times, with the way TNA put him, and other TNA “originals”, on the back burner for people from WWE. That kind of “I’ll show all of you” thinking amps things up, and probably leads to a very physical match. That works for everyone.
