5. Vince McMahon Returning To Confront The Authority

The Authority duo of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have been running roughshod over WWE for the past year since they became the regular authority figures on television. The WWE’s Chairman Vince McMahon has barely been seen on television this year even though you would think the guy that’s in charge of everything would show up once in a while.
There were reports last year as well as the start of this year that stated that at some point we would see him return as the babyface owner that didn’t like how Hunter and Stephanie were running things. For whatever reason, WWE decided against it.
Now in his late 60s, it would appear as though McMahon is content in staying in the background at least for now. When he does return to WWE television it will be seen as a big deal because it’s been a while since we last saw him. That’s the way they’ve used him in the past, so it’s smart of WWE to treat his appearances that way again. He’s older now. Let others fill that void.
There’s nothing wrong with Vince staying in the background for a long time. In his mind, that’s probably best for business right now.
