10. Sami Zayn And The Ascension Debuting On The Main Roster

It’s pretty ridiculous that the great Sami Zayn and the tag team known as The Ascension are not on the WWE roster yet.
Zayn is the best wrestler that’s on NXT that hasn’t been on the main roster yet. For fans that only watch Raw and Smackdown without every looking at NXT they have no idea who this guy. It’s a damn shame. He’s a ten year veteran that has wrestled all over the world and has had some of the best matches in WWE in the last couple of years. His resume is way stronger than a guy like Adam Rose and he’s a much better wrestler too.
The Ascension are a unique heel tag team in NXT with a look that makes them stand out from the back. They’re a dark, demonic duo that have dominated NXT for a couple of years now. Konnor and Viktor weren’t the original team, but they have done a great job together.
We figured by this point in the year that Zayn would be on the main roster and so would The Ascension. Instead, we’re here in late August with no idea when it’s going to happen. It would be nice if WWE brought them up to the main roster soon because there really isn’t anything more for them to do at the NXT level. They’re ready for the big time.
