10 WWE vs NJPW Matches That Need To Happen 6

6. Seth Rollins VS Tetsuya Naito

Naito has spent his career going from tag team to group work, and then to singles stardom. Attentive North American fans might recognize him from his brief stint in TNA, when he and Yujiro Takahashi wrestled as No Limit. He has grown into one of the top performers in New Japan, straddling the line between heavyweight and junior heavyweight, which allows him to wrestle differently against bigger or smaller opponents.
Rollins is slowly beginning to hit his stride, becoming a well-rounded force that seems to go out of his way to put on a terrific performance every single night. When you take those two men and put them in a ring together, you’re going to get a war. Two men that are small enough to be high-fliers, but still big enough to wrestle a “heavyweight style”. That makes for an exciting match, as you don’t know which style they’ll work with, and they can float from one to the other seamlessly. We’re right back into the faster-paced matches on the “card” here, as we anticipate who can hit an insane off-the-top-rope finisher first: Naito (Stardust Press, his Corkscrew Moonsault) or Rollins (Corkscrew 450 Splash, which was more of a Tyler Black than a Seth Rollins thing)?
