7. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan VS Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson
The opening tag match would be high-octane, with moving parts going non-stop, taking your breath away as you watch it. This tag match would go in the opposite direction, with four men who are hard-hitting and will try to take your head clean off with each solid strike and punishing move.
Gallows should still be familiar to a lot of North American fans, both from his work in CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society, or as a member of Aces & Eights in TNA. He’s one of the most underrated “big man” workers in recent memory, able to wrestle so much better than you would expect for someone of his size, while still being a powerful worker. Karl Anderson, as his Bullet Club partner, knows him well. The “Machine Gun” is one of the top heavyweight wrestlers in all of Japan, and a tag team specialist that is growing in popularity and skills in the Land Of The Rising Sun.
These two teams have great chemistry, being actual teams and not just two random people thrown together for a match. Luke Harper is becoming someone that people are calling for to eventually break out as a singles star, and outside of his age (he’ll be 35 in December), he has everything it takes for that to be a part of his future. He could really shine here. He has traveled in Japan before, and understands the Japanese style of wrestling, even though he worked for Dragon Gate, which has plenty of influence from Lucha Libre. These four men could end up causing this to be the show-stealer. They’re more than capable of it.
