10 Ways To Book Brock Lesnar As WWE Champion 7

7. Step Four – Time Away

Given Brock will have worked three straight pay-per views by the time the Raw after Hell in a Cell comes around, it will be handy to take Lesnar away from the game for a while in the wake of his final bout with Cena.
Of course, he can’t just take the belt and be forgotten about, so Lesnar should be kept at the forefront of fans’ minds by regular reminders of his ferocity and recent bouts with Cena. Speaking of the CeNation leader, it is the perfect opportunity for him to move on too – given the next pay-per-view to follow will be Survivor Series.
WWE have in recent years failed to utilise the traditional Survivor Series elimination match on November’s biggest show. However, if planned well ahead this year, the company could legitimately pass this style of match as a main event without Lesnar’s absence damaging the pay-per-view. Lesnar will likely not work every ‘special’ event and this would seem as good a time as any to be the first time he’s absent.
The company have put their faith in several new faces to lead the next generation of superstars, so the weeks leading up to it and the night itself should be used as a time for them to shine.
